This was the first ever Easter Bunny visit for both girls this year. We talked it up to Zoe the day before to prepare her and get her all excited. What we did not consider, though, was a two year old's perception of the world is a lot more literal than ours. You see, if you are a two year old and someone tells you you are going to see an easter "bunny" and all of your experiences in your life tell you that a "bunny" is a small, soft little animal that hops in the woods, you are going to be very surprised when you get to the mall and see this huge hairy thing with buck teeth and a bow tie. With this perspective in mind , you can totally understand the look on Zoe's face! She did NOT want to sit in this thing's lap - and I can't say I blame her. Fiona on the other hand, could not have cared less (even with her very stinky, full diaper - which we were hoping the Easter bunny wouldn't notice until after the pictures were taken!).
